# Healthy Food Scanner vs BD Method

The clearest difference is device support: BD Method at 3 against Healthy Food Scanner's 1. BD Method also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Healthy Food Scanner sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and BD Method sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $299.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
