# FurSight vs Falling Filter

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FurSight at 60% against Falling Filter's 14%. Falling Filter's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (3.9K vs 11). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FurSight sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Falling Filter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Falling Filter holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Falling Filter has 3.9K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of FurSight's written reviews are positive against 14% of Falling Filter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FurSight ships an update every 10 days, Falling Filter every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
