# Fox Writer vs 回形针

The clearest difference is ads: Fox Writer at none against 回形针's shown. 回形针's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fox Writer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and 回形针 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fox Writer ships an update monthly, 回形针 fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
