# Image Size vs Photo Compressor Image Resizer

The clearest difference is ads: Photo Compressor Image Resizer at none against Image Size's shown. Photo Compressor Image Resizer also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Image Size's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (30K vs 3). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Image Size sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Photo Compressor Image Resizer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Image Size against 4.7 for Photo Compressor Image Resizer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Image Size has 30K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
