# Image Size vs Image Resizer

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Image Size at 30K against Image Resizer's 122. Image Resizer's advantage is review sentiment (90% vs 71%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Image Size sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Image Resizer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Image Size against 4.8 for Image Resizer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Image Size has 30K ratings behind it against 122, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 71% of Image Size's written reviews are positive against 90% of Image Resizer's.

Image Size ships an update fortnightly, Image Resizer monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
