# AWS® Cloud Practitioner Prep vs Leaf Alert

The clearest difference is monetization model: Leaf Alert at free with in-app purchases against AWS® Cloud Practitioner Prep's subscription. Leaf Alert also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). AWS® Cloud Practitioner Prep's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AWS® Cloud Practitioner Prep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Leaf Alert sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Leaf Alert holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AWS® Cloud Practitioner Prep has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
