# Bookbear vs Cat's Library

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Bookbear at none against Cat's Library's 7. Bookbear also leads on ads (none vs shown). Both are free to download. Cat's Library sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Bookbear asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cat's Library holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 21 and 43 respectively.
