# Waypoint Compass vs Trail Map Locator

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Trail Map Locator at 15.6 against Waypoint Compass's 17.4. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Waypoint Compass sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per year and Trail Map Locator sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
