# FlexCam vs Flex

The clearest difference is ads: Flex at none against FlexCam's shown. Flex also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.6). FlexCam's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlexCam sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Flex sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlexCam ships an update every 5 weeks, Flex every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
