# Timero vs Study Kitty

The clearest difference is rating: Timero at 4.7 against Study Kitty's 4.3. Timero also leads on ratings volume (529 vs 4). Study Kitty's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timero sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Study Kitty sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timero holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timero has 529 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Timero ships an update every 2 weeks, Study Kitty every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
