# Dual Camera vs Jocial

The clearest difference is rating: Jocial at 5.0 against Dual Camera's 4.5. Jocial also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Dual Camera's advantage is ratings volume (81 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dual Camera sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Jocial sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jocial holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dual Camera has 81 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dual Camera ships an update every 3 months, Jocial fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
