# Block Royale! vs Home Block

The clearest difference is rating: Block Royale! at 5.0 against Home Block's 4.7. Block Royale! also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Home Block's advantage is ratings volume (85 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Block Royale! sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Home Block sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Block Royale! holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Home Block has 85 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
