# Puzzmo vs Pathways

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pathways at 90% against Puzzmo's 43%. Pathways also leads on rating (4.8 vs 3.7) and ads (none vs shown). Puzzmo's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and chart position (#164 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Puzzmo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Pathways sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pathways holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Puzzmo has 176 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 43% of Puzzmo's written reviews are positive against 90% of Pathways's.

Puzzmo ships an update every 2 weeks, Pathways every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
