# Mega vs HD Telecom TV

The clearest difference is ads: HD Telecom TV at none against Mega's shown. Mega's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mega ships an update every 2 months, HD Telecom TV every 10 months. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
