# Temp Email vs Mail ++

The clearest difference is rating: Mail ++ at 5.0 against Temp Email's 4.6. Temp Email's advantage is ratings volume (133 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Temp Email sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Mail ++ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mail ++ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Temp Email has 133 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Temp Email ships an update fortnightly, Mail ++ every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
