# PDF Viewer vs Daily Planner

The clearest difference is ads: PDF Viewer at none against Daily Planner's shown. PDF Viewer also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (89% vs 75%). Daily Planner's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 months) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Viewer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Daily Planner sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PDF Viewer holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDF Viewer has 243 ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 89% of PDF Viewer's written reviews are positive against 75% of Daily Planner's.

PDF Viewer ships an update every 3 months, Daily Planner every 11 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
