# HCF vs Blobby

The clearest difference is ads: Blobby at none against HCF's shown. Blobby also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). HCF's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HCF sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Blobby sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HCF ships an update fortnightly, Blobby every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
