# AKIRA vs Blakhair.com

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Blakhair.com at 100% against AKIRA's 47%. Blakhair.com also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). AKIRA's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (2K vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Blakhair.com holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AKIRA has 2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 47% of AKIRA's written reviews are positive against 100% of Blakhair.com's.

AKIRA ships an update every 3 weeks, Blakhair.com every 16 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
