# Whack vs PromoKit

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Whack at none against PromoKit's 1. Whack also leads on iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). PromoKit's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 3 days). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PromoKit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whack asks for nothing beyond the download.

Whack ships an update every 3 days, PromoKit daily. Both last shipped on October 3, 2026.
