# Kappa Loop vs Intent

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Kappa Loop at none against Intent's 16. Kappa Loop also leads on review sentiment (63% vs 33%). Intent's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Intent sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Kappa Loop asks for nothing beyond the download.

Intent holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Intent has 213 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Kappa Loop's written reviews are positive against 33% of Intent's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kappa Loop ships an update every 3 weeks, Intent every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
