# Weigel's vs Card Yard

Weigel's and Card Yard both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Card Yard's written reviews are positive against 38% of Weigel's's. Card Yard also leads on ads (none vs shown) and chart position (#71 vs unranked). Weigel's's advantage is price (Free vs $0.99) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 39 months). On rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Weigel's is free to download; Card Yard costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Card Yard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weigel's has 5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 38% of Weigel's's written reviews are positive against 100% of Card Yard's.

Weigel's ships an update every 3 months, Card Yard every 39 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
