# Weigel's vs Super

The clearest difference is ads: Super at none against Weigel's's shown. Super also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Weigel's's advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Weigel's against 5.0 for Super. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weigel's has 3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Weigel's ships an update every 3 months, Super fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
