# Topo Maps+ vs Ondago

The clearest difference is ads: Topo Maps+ at none against Ondago's shown. Topo Maps+ also leads on ratings volume (9.4K vs 28) and chart position (#89 vs unranked). Ondago's advantage is review sentiment (88% vs 62%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Topo Maps+ sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 3 months and Ondago sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Topo Maps+ against 4.7 for Ondago. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Topo Maps+ has 9.4K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of Topo Maps+'s written reviews are positive against 88% of Ondago's.

Topo Maps+ ships an update every 3 weeks, Ondago monthly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
