# Pareto vs NoteIQ

The clearest difference is ads: Pareto at none against NoteIQ's shown. NoteIQ's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pareto sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and NoteIQ sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pareto ships an update fortnightly, NoteIQ every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
