# Puff Log vs Forgotten X

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Forgotten X at 97% against Puff Log's 43%. Puff Log's advantage is rating (3.6 vs 3.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Puff Log sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Forgotten X sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Puff Log holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Puff Log's written reviews are positive against 97% of Forgotten X's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Puff Log ships an update every 2 weeks, Forgotten X every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
