# Strides vs Ticked

The clearest difference is device support: Strides at 4 against Ticked's 1. Strides also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Strides sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Ticked sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Strides ships an update fortnightly, Ticked every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
