# Strides vs Engram

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Strides at 19K against Engram's 1. Strides also leads on device support (4 vs 2). Engram's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 81%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Strides sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Engram sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Engram holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Strides has 19K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of Strides's written reviews are positive against 100% of Engram's.
