# JW Library vs BibleProject

The clearest difference is ratings volume: JW Library at 48K against BibleProject's 2.8K. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for JW Library against 4.9 for BibleProject. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: JW Library has 48K ratings behind it against 2.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of JW Library's written reviews are positive against 92% of BibleProject's.

JW Library ships an update monthly, BibleProject every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
