# Crisis Track vs TAG

The clearest difference is rating: TAG at 5.0 against Crisis Track's 4.4. TAG also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). Crisis Track's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TAG holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crisis Track has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Crisis Track ships an update every 2 months, TAG every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
