# Taxistars vs TopMobility

The clearest difference is rating: TopMobility at 4.6 against Taxistars's 2.3. TopMobility also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (24 vs 3). Taxistars's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TopMobility holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TopMobility has 24 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Taxistars's written reviews are positive against 39% of TopMobility's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Taxistars ships an update every 2 months, TopMobility every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
