# goCrop vs farmersOS

The clearest difference is update cadence: farmersOS at every 2 weeks against goCrop's every 5 months. farmersOS also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 1). goCrop's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for goCrop against 5.0 for farmersOS. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: farmersOS has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
