# vCalc vs ChatG

The clearest difference is ads: ChatG at none against vCalc's shown. ChatG also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). vCalc's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. vCalc sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and ChatG sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.00 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

vCalc ships an update every 5 days, ChatG every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
