# Skibly vs deskpop

The clearest difference is update cadence: deskpop at every 11 days against Skibly's monthly. Skibly's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Skibly ships an update monthly, deskpop every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
