# PDF Scanner Pro * vs Scan It

PDF Scanner Pro * and Scan It both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of PDF Scanner Pro *'s written reviews are positive against 40% of Scan It's. Scan It's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Scanner Pro * sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Scan It sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scan It holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 87 and 160 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of PDF Scanner Pro *'s written reviews are positive against 40% of Scan It's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PDF Scanner Pro * ships an update every 5 days, Scan It weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
