# PDF Scanner Pro * vs yescan

The clearest difference is rating: yescan at 5.0 against PDF Scanner Pro *'s 4.4. yescan also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). PDF Scanner Pro *'s advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 77%) and ratings volume (108 vs 9). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Scanner Pro * sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and yescan sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

yescan holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDF Scanner Pro * has 108 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of PDF Scanner Pro *'s written reviews are positive against 77% of yescan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PDF Scanner Pro * ships an update every 5 days, yescan weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
