# CellMapper vs Cell Tower Locator & 4G/5G Map

The clearest difference is rating: CellMapper at 4.0 against Cell Tower Locator & 4G/5G Map's 3.4. CellMapper also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (749 vs 13). Cell Tower Locator & 4G/5G Map's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (14% vs 6%). CellMapper holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CellMapper has 749 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 6% of CellMapper's written reviews are positive against 14% of Cell Tower Locator & 4G/5G Map's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
