# Mac Tools vs TopGuru

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mac Tools at 100% against TopGuru's 29%. Mac Tools also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 30). TopGuru's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 23 months) and ratings volume (409 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TopGuru sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Mac Tools asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mac Tools holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5.
