# QCat vs ABC Jump

The clearest difference is rating: ABC Jump at 4.2 against QCat's 1.0. ABC Jump also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 1) and review sentiment (91% vs 67%). QCat's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QCat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ABC Jump sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ABC Jump holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ABC Jump has 2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of QCat's written reviews are positive against 91% of ABC Jump's.

QCat ships an update every 4 months, ABC Jump every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
