# SMPRO vs Xnapper

The clearest difference is ads: Xnapper at none against SMPRO's shown. Xnapper also leads on review sentiment (80% vs 65%). SMPRO's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (386 vs 21). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SMPRO sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Xnapper sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SMPRO holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SMPRO has 386 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of SMPRO's written reviews are positive against 80% of Xnapper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SMPRO ships an update every 2 months, Xnapper every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
