# SMPRO vs NiceShots

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NiceShots at 100% against SMPRO's 65%. NiceShots also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). SMPRO's advantage is ratings volume (386 vs 31). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SMPRO sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and NiceShots sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NiceShots holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SMPRO has 386 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 65% of SMPRO's written reviews are positive against 100% of NiceShots's.

SMPRO ships an update every 2 months, NiceShots every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
