# SMPRO vs Animock

The clearest difference is ads: Animock at none against SMPRO's shown. Animock also leads on review sentiment (91% vs 65%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). SMPRO's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (386 vs 18). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SMPRO sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Animock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SMPRO holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SMPRO has 386 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of SMPRO's written reviews are positive against 91% of Animock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SMPRO ships an update every 2 months, Animock every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
