# Passes vs Oumi

The clearest difference is rating: Passes at 4.7 against Oumi's 4.0. Passes also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). Oumi's advantage is review sentiment (58% vs 45%) and chart position (#85 vs unranked). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Passes sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Oumi sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Passes holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 648 and 254 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Passes's written reviews are positive against 58% of Oumi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Passes ships an update every 5 days, Oumi every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
