# Dark Reader vs Eclipse

The clearest difference is device support: Dark Reader at 3 against Eclipse's —. Dark Reader also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dark Reader sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year and Eclipse sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
