# SFC+ vs Plus.Fan

The clearest difference is ads: Plus.Fan at none against SFC+'s shown. Plus.Fan also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). SFC+'s advantage is ratings volume (22 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SFC+ against 5.0 for Plus.Fan. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SFC+ has 22 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. SFC+ ships an update every 5 weeks, Plus.Fan every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
