# Anki Pro vs Lettrd

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Lettrd at 100% against Anki Pro's 27%. Lettrd also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Anki Pro's advantage is ratings volume (162 vs 5) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Anki Pro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Lettrd sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lettrd holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Anki Pro has 162 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 27% of Anki Pro's written reviews are positive against 100% of Lettrd's.

Anki Pro ships an update weekly, Lettrd every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
