# Live Timecode Notes vs Precast

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Live Timecode Notes at 18.0 against Precast's 26.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Live Timecode Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Precast sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
