# Jon Anik vs Dropkickd

The clearest difference is rating: Jon Anik at 5.0 against Dropkickd's 4.3. Dropkickd's advantage is ratings volume (48 vs 2) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jon Anik sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Dropkickd sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jon Anik holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dropkickd has 48 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Jon Anik ships an update every 3 months, Dropkickd monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
