# BuzzStar vs E.P.I.C. Studios

The clearest difference is rating: E.P.I.C. Studios at 4.8 against BuzzStar's 4.2. E.P.I.C. Studios also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (12K vs 19). BuzzStar's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 18) and review sentiment (80% vs 70%). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. E.P.I.C. Studios sells 18 one-off in-app purchases. BuzzStar asks for nothing beyond the download.

E.P.I.C. Studios holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: E.P.I.C. Studios has 12K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of BuzzStar's written reviews are positive against 70% of E.P.I.C. Studios's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BuzzStar ships an update weekly, E.P.I.C. Studios every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
