# Note & Widget vs Plop

The clearest difference is update cadence: Note & Widget at every 4 days against Plop's weekly. Plop's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Note & Widget ships an update every 4 days, Plop weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
