The clearest difference is update cadence: VDF Connect at every 2 weeks against Creatunity's every 5 weeks. VDF Connect also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Creatunity ships an update every 5 weeks, VDF Connect every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
